Brand new country trio Love and Theft, belonging to Carrollwood Records the sister label to Lyric Street Records, have exceeded expectations with their debut single “Runaway.” “Runaway” is an incredible blend of tight, three part harmony mixed with gritty acoustic guitar licks. Each of the three members (Eric, Stephen, and Brian) take their turn punching in on lines about packing your bags and crossing state lines in seek of a new start. The cleverly crafted lyric, a co-write between band member Stephen Barker Liles and friend Canaan Smith along with Rob Blackledge, paired with Love and Theft’s vocal presence will take you along for the ride.
